By accessing or using the Sliwas HVAC website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Description of Services
Sliwas HVAC operates as a service that connects customers with vetted, licensed HVAC technicians on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. We facilitate the scheduling and coordination of HVAC repair, replacement, and maintenance services. The actual HVAC work is performed by independent, licensed technicians in our network.
3. User Responsibilities
By using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when requesting services
- Be present or have an authorized adult present at the service location during scheduled appointments
- Ensure safe and reasonable access to HVAC equipment for technicians
- Inform technicians of any known hazards or special conditions at the service location
- Pay for services rendered in accordance with agreed-upon pricing
- Treat technicians with respect and provide a safe working environment
- Not use our services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Not interfere with or disrupt our services or servers
4. Service Scheduling and Cancellation
- Service appointments are scheduled based on availability and urgency of the request
- We strive to provide same-day service for emergencies but cannot guarantee availability
- If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible
- Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in service fees or refusal of future service
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances
5. Pricing and Payment
- All pricing is provided upfront before work begins
- Estimates are based on initial assessment and may change if additional issues are discovered
- Any changes to pricing will be communicated and approved before proceeding
- Payment is due upon completion of services unless financing arrangements are made
- We accept various payment methods including cash, check, and major credit cards
- Financing options are subject to credit approval through our financing partners
6. SMS/Text Messaging Program
By providing your mobile phone number and checking the consent box on our service request form, you expressly consent to receive text (SMS/MMS) messages from Sliwas HVAC at the number provided. Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Program Description
The Sliwas HVAC messaging program sends transactional and customer-service messages related to the HVAC services you request. Message types include, but are not limited to: appointment scheduling and confirmations, technician dispatch and arrival updates, service follow-ups, price quotes and estimates, billing and payment reminders, and responses to questions you send us.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your interactions with us. You will typically receive messages only in connection with an active or requested service. Message frequency is recurring but low.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Such charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider. Sliwas HVAC is not responsible for any message or data charges imposed by your carrier. Please contact your wireless provider for details about your messaging or data plan.
Opt-Out Instructions (STOP)
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP to the number from which you received our messages. After you send the message STOP, we will send you a one-time reply confirming your unsubscribe. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, simply sign up again as you did initially, and we will resume sending messages to you.

Carriers Not Liable
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change, and message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier.
Privacy
No mobile information, text messaging opt-in data, or consent will be sold, rented, or shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your information.
7. Warranties and Guarantees
Work performed by technicians in our network is subject to their individual warranty policies. Manufacturer warranties on parts and equipment remain the responsibility of the respective manufacturers. We encourage you to:
- Request warranty information before service begins
- Keep all receipts and documentation
- Register new equipment with manufacturers when applicable
- Contact us promptly if you experience issues after service
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- Sliwas HVAC acts as a coordinator between customers and independent technicians. We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of services performed by technicians.
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses.
- Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
- We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, or government actions.
- We do not guarantee that our website will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sliwas HVAC, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney fees) arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.
10. Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution
Before filing any formal complaint or legal action, you agree to contact us first to attempt to resolve any dispute informally. Most concerns can be resolved quickly through direct communication. Please call us at (228) 365-7474.
Binding Arbitration
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and Sliwas HVAC agree to resolve any claims through binding arbitration rather than in court, except for claims that may be brought in small claims court. Arbitration will be conducted in Harrison County, Mississippi, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
Class Action Waiver
You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Sliwas HVAC and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at our sole discretion, including if we believe that your conduct violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, technicians, or us, or for any other reason.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sliwas HVAC regarding your use of our services and supersede any prior agreements.
